Tidal Wave

Pattern: Tidal Wave Socks - free pattern from Southwest Trading Company
Yarn: Tofutsies - color #730, Light Foot
Needles: Size 0 Addi Turbos - 40" magic loop
Thoughts: This was a fun, easy pattern. I love the yarn. It is so soft and luscious. Next time I will add a couple more pattern repeats for a longer leg. These are not for me, but I will definitely use this sock yarn again. This color may not be ideal for my scary white/pink legs.

I just received a ball of Tofutsies in a swap and was thinking of knitting these. Did you have enough left in the ball to knit a few more repeats as I would like a longer leg

I had a lot of yarn left over and could have added at least 2 or 3 more pattern repeats. Next time I'll do that. But for now, I'll probably use the extra to make a pair of child socks.

Those are really pretty. I love the color and I don't notice the white legs ;)

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Your socks look great. I have used the Tofutsies too & found the yarn splits but the sock is nice & soft. Love your shawl too. Hope to finish off my shawl in the next couple of days.

Oh wow, these socks are absolutely gorgeous! I really, really love the pattern, I'll *so* have to try my hands at it too! And the colourway you've been using is so pretty too! Great job!

Very pretty! I can't wait to start mine. Thanks for the tip on the number of pattern repeats.
